I. Grant New Permissions for Smart Description Icon App Account:


Step 1: Send Us the Partner Request Code (if necessary)
If your Smart App account is set up with a restriction that requires a partner request code for access, follow the steps below to share the code with us.

  1. Go to Settings in the Smart App.
  2. Select Account & Permissions.
  3. If prompted, generate and copy your Partner Request Code.
  4. Send the Partner Request Code to us via Live Chat or email at support@smartappassist.freshdesk.com 


Once we receive the code, we can send you the access request to grant us permission.



Step 2: Review & Accept Our Access Request


After we send you the access request, follow these steps to review and approve it:

  1. Go to Settings in the Smart App.
  2. Select Account & Permissions.
  3. Look for Pending Access Requests under the Permissions section.
  4. You’ll see our partner’s access request listed. Click on it to review the required permissions.
  5. Select the permissions you wish to grant us.
  6. Finally, click Accept Request to allow us access to your Smart App account.




II. Update Permissions for Smart App Account:


If you’ve already granted access to a partner but want to update the permissions later, follow these simple steps:


Step 1:

  1. Go to Settings in the Smart App.
  2. Select Account & Permissions.
  3. Under Manage Partners, find the access you want to update.


Step 2:

  1. Scroll to the Permissions section.
  2. Check the new permissions you’d like to update or add.
  3. Click Save Changes to confirm the updated permissions.
